If you are ever in the Los Angeles area and enjoy Vintage & Thrift Shopping here are a few of my favorites you need to check out ! ! !
#1 . SWIFT -
3216 West Magnolia Boulevard Burbank, CA
A Small Charming Shop located on Magnolia Street in Burbank is the perfect place to stop in while you are enjoying the cuban bakery & cafe , Portos down the street. Swift has been my go to place for several years now and If you are not in the area you can purchase off their website & Etsy store. The people there are great and have excellent customer service skills. My most recent purchase is this fantastic sheer shirt I am dying to wear. The Price Point varies from Piece to Piece but usually the prices are very affordable! You will find a link to SWIFT on the sidebar of my blog on the right hand side. Not only Is Swift and Portos on Magnolia Blvd in Burbank but Magnolia street is lined with little thrift & Vintage stores. ( HOWEVER start with SWIFT !!! ) |
#2. WASTELAND -
| 7248 Melrose Avenue Los Angeles, CA 90046 Wasteland has exploded on the Los Angeles area with several locations but my favorite location is on Melrose. I seem to always find several pieces I cannot live without ! With a mix of Old and New Favorites this store has tons to choose from. I would recommend taking plenty of spending $$$ for your finds. You can get some great deals but most pieces are fairly expensive - If you find something you LOVE you better not pass it up because I promise you it will not be there another time around. Melrose also holds some great treasure shops and typically doesn't disappoint. Wasteland is the more "Trendy" & "Hipster" Look Store. Shop online as well ... SHOP WASTELAND |

#3. AMERICAN VINTAGE -
7377 Melrose Ave Los Angeles, CA
American Vintage .... Some good memories here ! This is the place for DRESS UP. I usually find something that I want to actually wear but if you are into dressing wild and wearing old prom dresses etc. this is the place for you! My friend Kella collects Old Prom Dresses that she deems "Kelly Worthy" - so with that said We have spent multiple afternoons getting milkshakes a few blocks down at Johnny Rockets - then dress hunting in the back rooms of A.V. ! The Prices are pretty fair with of course a few overpriced items like most vintage stores. For a good Vintage Hunt of the Crazy Eclectic I recommend browsing through here ! (JUST DOWN AND ACROSS THE STREET FROM WASTELAND)
ANOTHER VINTAGE STORE TO CHECK OUT :
Jet Rag on La Brea is a HUGE place full of fun things but the atmosphere inside is a little strange & musty - If you can get past that you are good to go - Recommend eating before you go because you will be Browsing FOREVER!!!!! Jet Rag is your place for Old Rocker Tees , Worn in Converse and lots of Plaid! They carry EVERYTHING it seems so check it out no matter what you are looking for! Very Fun Place & SUNDAYS $1 DAYS are the absolute craziest! They put bins of old clothes out in front of the store and everything in them is a $1 - It is Awesome!!! GO EARLYYYYY!!! If you are into repurposing clothes you can afford to cut up and sew your own creations with the deals you get on Sundays.
There are tons of wonderful vintage shops to check out in the Los Angeles Area - But Start with these - HAPPY SHOPPING :)!
